זָקַר

זָקַר(cmp. Syr. זקר P. Sm. 115 1) 1) to thrust, fling. Yoma 67b זֹוקְרֹו בתוכ׳ Ar. a. Mss. M. 2 a. O. (ed. זורקו, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note), v. בַּת II. 2) to cast lots; to decide. Nif. נִזְקָר, Nithpa. נִזְדַּקֵּר 1) to be thrown; to leap, to stagger. Ib. 38b, v. בַּת II. 2) to be decided upon, to be decreed upon. Erub.52b למקום שרובו הוא נזקר (Var. נזר׳) he is judged to belong to where the larger portion of his body is.R. Hash. 18a כולן נזקרון בזקירה אחת Ar. (Var.
